Clive (Valley City)

“The Village of Clive was incorporated on the 14th of February, 1912.  The first Councillors were: Mr. Fulthorpe, Mr. Longstreet, and Mr. Douglas Wilson, the Secretary-Treasurer was L.R. McDonald and the Assessor A.A. Smith.  The first taxation rate was 20 mills for municipal purposes and 10 mills for school purposes.    ▸
